ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has approved three days holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The Eid holidays will be on July 21, 20 and 22.

According to reports, a meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the federal cabinet considered the 22-point agenda including the political and corona situation in the country.

Giving a media briefing after the meeting, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that the NCOC wanted Eid to have 5 days off but the federal cabinet has approved 3 days off.

Fawad Chaudhry said that there would be Eid holidays on July 21, 20 and 22.

Yesterday, a summary of the proposal for three holidays on Eid-ul-Adha was sent to Prime Minister Imran Khan by the Interior Ministry.

Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid while addressing a news conference said that on Eid, the entire week may be a holiday but the final decision will be taken by the federal cabinet.
