How many people were provided rations in the lockdown? Governor Punjab
Lahore, 13th May: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that the government has been distributing aid to the beneficiaries in a transparent manner during the lockdown.
Baaghi TV: The Governor Punjab said that voluntary assistance was provided to 600,000 people by NGOs who are working in different parts of Punjab.
Governor Punjab further said that clean water is our foremost priority in Punjab and billions of rupees have been spent on the clean water project. NGOs and philanthropists are ready to install water plants, and they fully ready to operate the water plants.
The Governor Punjab further said that unfortunately, the trend of unification in the politics of the country is not visible, the government has taken important steps to provide financial assistance to the deserving people.
We have to change our attitudes to meet the challenge of the pandemic and people need to follow safety measures.

Chaudhry Sarwar further said that during the coronavirus crisis, the politicians will be held accountable by the people as they know very well who is doing what.
The role of philanthropists and welfare organizations in relief activities is commendable. Rations are being delivered to deserving families.
