How many TLP workers released? Sheikh Rasheed addresses a press conference

Lahore, 21st April: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has made a big announcement about the release of workers from the banned organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). 

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed while talking to the media on Wednesday said that the resolution will be discussed in the parliament to remove the French ambassador.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the special session of the National Assembly was convened on April 20. 
He said that after 7 hours of talks yesterday, matters were settled with the TLP.
The debate over the expulsion of the ambassador also included the release of those arrested under MPO.
He informed that 669 out of 733 people have been released so far. 12 police officials who were kept hostages were returned on the night of April 19.

Rasheed informed that Prime Minister is going to take the Western rulers into confidence regarding the case of Namoos-e-Rasalat (honour of Prophet Muhammad).

Federal Minister added that 210 FIRs will go through the legal process, including Saad Rizvi’s case.

Sheikh Rasheed said that we have declared TLP null and void. They can appeal in 30 days and a committee will be formed on the appeal which will decide it.
