Additional Attorney General said that reports of DRAP and NDMA have been submitted. On April 30, the government issued NOC for import of unregistered drugs. The chief justice asked why unregistered devices and medicines were allowed to be imported. How would the government know what was being ordered?

DRAP officials told the court that there was no shortage of any corona-related drug in the country, adding that there were several months’ stock of several drugs besides acetrama injection, Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel said. Giving remarks, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that large quantity of oxygen can be obtained from Pakistan Steel Mill, Oxygen Plant of Steel Mills can be activated, Additional Attorney General said that Oxygen Plant of Steel Mill is more or less 40 years old.
