Husband stabs 20-year-old bride to death on honeymoon

KABUL: A 20-year-old bride was stabbed to death by her husband on the honeymoon night in the northern province of Nimroz, according to reports. The pier was taken down.

Sher Hassan Sherzad, a local anti-crime officer, was quoted by Afghan media as saying that the incident took place at one o’clock local time last night in Nimroz province when the husband stabbed his newly married 20-year-old bride, Ruqiya, with a dagger. Killed very recklessly.

According to local hospital doctor Yasmeen Habibi, 42 dagger marks were found on the body of the slain bride. Local authorities have taken the husband into custody and are investigating. Initially, the cause of the murder was family feud.
