Chasing a target of 225, Afghanistan managed to score 2 runs only in 50 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Mohammed Nabi top scored for Afghanistan as he scored 52 runs. Muhammad Shami was the best of the bowler for India as he picked 5 wickets. He picked up a hat-trick of this World Cup for India as he picked three wickets in last over of the match.
