ICC World Cup 2019: New Zealand thrashed India by 18 runs.

In the first semi-final of ICC World Cup 2019, New Zealand thrashed India by 18 runs at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester.

According to reports of Baaghitv, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. New Zealand scored 211 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 46.1 overs when rain halted the play and match was carried on reserved day. Today, New Zealand carried on from the yesterday and scored 239 runs for he loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Ross Taylor scored 74 runs while Kane Williamson played innings of 67 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar  picked up 3 wickets.

Chasing a target of 240, India was bowled out on 221 runs in 49.2 overs. India lost top order in a quick span as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and K L Rahul  got out without entering double figure. Ravindera Jadeja top scored for India. He scored 77 runs of 59 deliveries. MS Dhoni played an innings of 50 runs. Matt Henry picked up 3 wickets. Trent Boult picked up 2 wickets.
