Islamabad July 2 (Online Int’l): Aligning with the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision, Islamabad Cooperative Housing Society (ICHS) has introduced a unique housing project under which low cost plots and houses will be provided to marginalized communities of twin cities.
The housing scheme is located near CPEC, Ring Road and New Islamabad International Airport.
This was revealed by Housing Society President Malik Rafiq in an interview to Online on Thursday.
They had initiated this project for its members some 15 years ago which is now ready to benefit its members.
The president claims that they are providing cheap plots to their members as compared to all other housing schemes that exist in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, despite an outstanding location.
Malik Rafiq says their housing society is in the real sense a housing society for the common man and poor community.
It’s not a dream but a fact that they are selling plots to poor people on easy installments. He said we have at least 10,000 kanals land this time, adding that as many as 18,000 members will be given plots.
He claims that there will be no water and power related issues in this housing scheme as they have done with all such measures already.
He said that due to the presence of a dam near the housing society, water-level is also going upward. It would be a housing society where all sorts of employment opportunities will be available.
