ISLAMABAD – October 7, 2025: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has been requested to halt the trial court proceedings in the Toshakhana-II case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, pending a final decision on their acquittal petitions. The plea was made by Barrister Salman Safdar, counsel for the PTI founder, before Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas during Friday’s hearing at the IHC. Safdar urged the court to restrain the trial court from announcing its verdict, stating that the proceedings were being rushed without allowing the defence adequate opportunity to complete its arguments. “There are 35 witnesses in the case.
