ISLAMABAD, July 08 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered for immediate removal of illegal cattle pens from Koral .
Justice Mohsin Akhtar of IHC took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
The court directed the assistant commissioner to remove cattle pens within a week and file report before it.
State Counsel Hasnain Haider Thahim and the petitioner Syed Zubair Shah appeared before the court in person.
The petitioner requested the court to order assistant commissioner to remove the cattle pens as per law besides taking legal action against the owners of cattle pens. The adjoining areas have turned into filth depot owing to cattle pens. These pens are spreading stench and reek in the respective localities.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till July 15.
