The IHC has announced its reserved  verdict and revived appeals filed by former premier Nawaz Sharif in two cases of NAB.

The Islamabad High Court has reconvened to deliberate on the petitions submitted by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The court had previously suspended his sentence, but it has now taken the initiative to clarify the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved.

Prominent lawyer Amjad Pervez, representing Nawaz Sharif, emphasized the court’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent legal process, noting that the suspension of the sentence had been accompanied by a clear delineation of everyone’s roles.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has thrown its weight behind Nawaz Sharif’s appeals, indicating its support for the former Prime Minister. This support from NAB is a noteworthy development in the ongoing legal battle.

Furthermore, Chairman NAB, Ihtsham Qadir, expressed a unanimous opinion with regard to the revival of the appeal, asserting that there are no objections from their side. This alignment of viewpoints within NAB signifies a potential shift in the case’s dynamics.

The resumption of the hearings in the Islamabad High Court, alongside the backing from NAB, suggests that the legal battle involving Nawaz Sharif is far from over, and the proceedings are set to witness significant developments in the coming days.
