IHC to hear case against appointment of 15 SAPMs

ISLAMABAD, August 9 (Online): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed August 11 as the date for hearing the case against appointment of 15 special assistants to the Prime Minister.
A division bench comprising of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the case. Meanwhile, a case against the inclusion of Prime Minister’s Special Assistants in the Cabinet Committee on Privatization has also been fixed for hearing. This case will also be heard by the same bench.
It is pertinent to mention here that the court had directed to consolidate all cases against the appointment of SAPMS and sought a list of the SAPMs as well as copies of their notifications.
