Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that  he wanted to apprise the nation that it is brotherly country China, that has stood by Pakistan in the most difficult of times, to help Pakistan weather these most difficult times.

He thanked the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Development Bank for helping Pakistan in avoiding default and helping our country in its grave hour of need.

He said while brotherly nations and neighbours such as Sri Lanka were ready to help Pakistan, nefarious designs were underway by certain political forces within Pakistan to lead us to financial default and social peril.

The PM said that he wanted to especially thank Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the COAS General Asim Munir for their untiring efforts to help us secure the IMF loan and in reaching out to our friends in our hour of peril.

Sharing details about the economic revival plan, the Prime Minister said that We have made a master plan for the economic revival of Pakistan. All stakeholders including provinces, civil society and intelligentsia will be brought on one table to work in unison for Pakistan’s economic and social uplift.
