June 14, 2021: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has decided to close primary and middle schools due to extreme heat.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department says primary and middle schools in hot areas will remain closed until further notice.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department says only subjects that will be tested in grades 9 to 12 will be taught. The Department of Education added that school hours will be normal in areas where temperatures are low. The Department of Education has set school hours for grades 9-12 through 7 a.m. to 10 am.
