A simple but impressive Change of Guards ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore this morning.
During the ceremony, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy assumed the security charge of the Mazar from Punjab Rangers for a day.
Commander Central Punjab of Pakistan Navy, Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood was the Chief Guest on the occasion, who laid floral wreath and offered fateha on national poet’s grave.
Later, he penned remarks in the Visitor’s Book, lauding Allama Iqbal’s great political and literary achievements and services.
