KARACHI: Sri Lanka interim head coach Rumesh Ratnayake has stated that people of Sri Lanka loves Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
According to details, while talking to media in Karachi, Rumesh Ratnayake has praised the personality of Imran Khan. “We, the people of Sri Lanka, loves Imran Khan, he was a great cricketer and will prove a great leader too, he is been very encouraging, during the time I was playing he had me in his room for 45 minutes advising me & I really appreciated that.” he said.
While talking about revival of cricket in Pakistan, Rumesh Ratnayake said “If things go well, this series will be a huge thing for the future, not only for other Sri Lankan players to come here, but also for all other countries to be here in Pakistan,”

He further said “I am privileged to be here in Pakistan. It was a privilege as a player to be here also and I enjoyed all the tours here in the past. I got on very well with Pakistani players, some very big names, one who’s even leading your country.”
Reportedly, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in second match of One Day International (ODI) series on 30th of September (tommorow) at National Stadium of Karachi.
