LAHORE, July 01 (Online): Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar has said Imran Khan is not a leader to be deterred by opposition threats for protest and he is and will remain Prime Minister (PM) till 2023.
He expressed these views during his meeting with provincial transport minister Jahanzeb here Wednesday.
The two leaders exchanged views on prevailing political scenario of the country and discussed opposition strategy.
Chaudhry Sarwar said Al-Opposition has become minus and they have no future in the country. Country’s reversion to corruption era stands ruled out, he added.
He claimed that decisions are being taken in the country for the first time keeping in view norms of merit and transparency.
He held PM Imran Khan wants to take Pakistan ahead while opposition wants to take it backward. The political opponents should wait for 2023 general election with patience. All the resources will be utilized for development and prosperity of the country. PTI is working conforming to aspirations of common man, he remarked.
