Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman case in the judicial complex commotion has been adjourned till August 22.
The judge presiding over the case was on leave, so the hearing was postponed until August 22. Sardar Masroof represented the accused during the hearing before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad.
Notably, the PTI chairman’s request for exemption from appearing in court was granted. The case against him involved two separate instances registered at Ramna police station and one at Golra police station. A
dditionally, it’s worth mentioning that the PTI chairman’s bail in the Ramna and Golra police station cases has been confirmed.
The hearing for six other cases involving the PTI chairman at the district and sessions courts in Islamabad has been extended until tomorrow. The extension was made by Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra, who also granted the PTI chairman exemption from personal appearance in court during this period, based on the request made by his legal representatives. These six cases consist of two filed at Tarnol police station and one each at Kohsar, Karachi Company, Secretariat, and Ramna police stations.
