The highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 4,537 people have lost their lives while 3,875 in Sindh. 1,826 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 463 in Islamabad, 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 192 in Balochistan and 252 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.

It is to be noted that 4,84,508 people have recovered in the country, and the number of patients under treatment is 35,063. The first 50,000 cases came to light in 86 days and the last 50,000 cases in just 22 days. The first case of Corona in Pakistan came to light on February 26, while the first death from Corona was reported on March 18.
