According to the report of Baaghi TV, the second wave of Corona virus continues in Pakistan. There is a steady increase in COVID-19 cases and mortality rate.
According to the NCOC, in the last 24 hours, 43 more people have lost their lives in Pakistan from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 11,247. In 24 hours, 1,927 new cases of corona have been reported, bringing the total number of patients to 530,818.
According to the NCOC, the number of corona cases is 40,629 in Islamabad. 64,945 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 239,935 in Sindh, 152,925 in Punjab, 18,715 in Balochistan and 8,770 in Azad Kashmir and 4,899 people in Gilgit-Baltistan have been infected with corona.
The highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 4,537 people have lost their lives while 3,875 in Sindh. 1,826 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 463 in Islamabad, 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 192 in Balochistan and 252 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.
It is to be noted that 4,84,508 people have recovered in the country, and the number of patients under treatment is 35,063. The first 50,000 cases came to light in 86 days and the last 50,000 cases in just 22 days. The first case of Corona in Pakistan came to light on February 26, while the first death from Corona was reported on March 18.
