When the head of an institution fails to fulfill his or her assigned responsibilities and becomes unable to run the institution concerned smoothly, he or she resigns morally by admitting failures or at least being transferred or deposed by higher authorities. In developed countries, politicians, government officials, and others in a position of authority are open to criticism, admit their failures, and wish for betterment. Generally, politics is for public welfare, the security forces for maintaining peace, and the media for awareness; while in Pakistan, politics is for offspring’s welfare, and the media for justifying these practices. In Pakistan, the law is for the poor, prisons for critics, death for innocents, privileges for the rich, rewards for sycophants, and peace for rulers.
