India admits Mi-17 crash was ‘big mistake’

Indian Airforce admitted that the Mi-17 chopper crash in Kashmir due to that accident six personnel were killed, was a mistake on their side.

DG ISPR claimed few weeks back that indian Air Force hit his own helicopter but indian media was denying this claim even Indian Air Force Officials denied this claim, but inquiry reports revealed that indian Army hit his own helicopter and this is first time that india is admitting his mistake.

The Court of Inquiry (COI) has been completed and it was our mistake as our missile had hit our own chopper,” Indian Air Cheif Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria

ACM Bhadauria said action will be taken against two IAF officers. “We will ensure such mistakes are not repeated in future,”

Court of inquiry found four officers guilty of that accident according to indian media.Group Captain, responsible for the chopper crash over Srinagar when India and Pakistan were engaged in a short aerial battle.

On 27 February Pakistan Air Force shot down two indian planes.
