India booked their spot in the SAFF Championship 2023 semi-final after beating Nepal 2-0 in their second Group A encounter in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Sunil Chhetri opened the scoring for the hosts and Mahesh Singh made it two in a close-fought encounter.
It was the 91st international goal for skipper Chhetri. India had previously defeated Pakistan in their opening game and their final match of the group stage will be against Kuwait on Tuesday.
