India Should Remember that a Nation Standing by its Right Cannot be Defeated: Firdous Ashiq Awan

Islamabad (5th Aug, 2019): Expressing solidarity with oppressed Kashmiri citizens by the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), against brutality and undue atrocities of the Indian government is a message that needs to play effective role towards resolution of the Kashmir Issue in the international community immediately. 

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Advisor to PM Imran Khan for Information and Broadcasting has stated on Twitter that the OIC’s expression of solidarity with the Kashmiri people is a message of great global significance. She has tweeted that supporting the Kashmiris right to self-determination by the OIC is a defeat of India’s tyrant order.

Firdous Ashiq Awan noted that this message of support by the OIC is in fact a message of immediate action for the global community to play its effective role in the resolution of the Kashmir issue.

او آئی سی کا بھارتی مظالم کے خلاف مظلوم کشمیریوں کے ساتھ اظہار یکجہتی عالمی برادری کے لئے پیغام ہے کہ تنازعہ کشمیر کے حل کے لئے فوری اور موثر کردار ادا کرے۔

او آئی سی نے گواہی دی ہے کہ ایل او سی پر بھارتی فوج بے گناہ شہریوں پر ممنوعہ کلسٹر ہتھیار استعمال کررہا ہے جس کا اقوام متحدہ، امن پسند اور مہذب اقوام کو نوٹس لینا چاہیے۔

She added that the OIC has testified to the fact that Indian troops are using the prohibited cluster ammunition on innocent Kashmiri citizens along the LoC and therefore, must have action taken against them by the peace loving nations associated with the United Nations.

او آئی سی کا مقبوضہ جموں کشمیر کے عوام کے حق خودارادیت کی حمایت کرنا ظالم اور قانون شکن بھارت کی ایک اور شکست ہے۔ مظلوم کشمیریوں کی حمایت کے اعادہ پر او آئی سی کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں جس نے ایک بار پھر دنیا کو کشمیریوں کے جائز، قانونی اور جمہوری حق کی طرف متوجہ کیا ہے۔

Firdous Ashiq Awan further stated that supporting their right to self-determination, OIC has defeated India’s violations of law against the Kashmiri people. She continued to thank the OIC for having reiterated their support for the Kashmiri cause which has once more been able to divert global attention towards itself and the freedom movement against Indian tyranny.

The Special Advisor to the PM stated, that this freedom movement and right to self-determination is the right of every Kashmiri.

پاکستان اقوام متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی قراردادوں کی روشنی میں کشمیریوں کے حق خودارادیت کے حصول تک ان کی سفارتی، اخلاقی اور سیاسی حمایت پوری قوت سے جاری رکھے گا۔بھارت نہ بھولے کہ حق پر کھڑی قوم کو کوئی بندوق، کوئی ظلم اور کوئی سازش شکست نہیں دے سکتی۔

Moreover, she added that India cannot trample on the democratic rights of the Kashmiri people through its show of brutality and atrocities. She further stated that the international community should provide practical proof of its support for the Kashmiri cause by siding with the oppressed community against India’s tyranny.

With her latest tweet, she reiterated that Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic, moral and any kind of support possible for the Kashmiri people til they achieve their right of self-determination which is a basic right of every individual irrespective of caste or creed or religion.

She added that India should not forget that a nation standing by its right cannot be defeated.
