India speaks in favor of Marvi Sarmad, Ahmad Noorani, and Gul Bukhari at the United Nations (UN), slanders against Pakistan, confirm reports.  According to a report by Baaghi TV, India has hurled insults at Pakistan at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). “You may not be able to return home to the new Pakistan of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” said Seethal Kumar, the Indian secretary. Kumar lashed out at Pakistan, adding that security forces in Pakistan had mastered the art of killing and abducting people in so-called counter-terrorism operations. This is because of a weak judiciary in Pakistan that has also failed to protect basic human rights. According to Defense.pk, New Delhi pointed to the detention and harassment of Pakistani journalists Marvi Sarmad, Ahmad Noorani, Gul Bukhari and Idrees Khattak. “Targeting journalists through threats, attacks, arrests creates a lot of fear and self-censorship,” Kumar said. India also elaborated on the issues of “disappearances, killings, detentions, traditional deaths and violence against civil rights activists, representatives of local political parties and journalists” in Azad Kashmir.
