Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah diagnosed with Pneumonia, likely to be discharged

Lahore, 1st July: Bollywood’s versatile actor Naseeruddin Shah’s health has improved considerably and will be discharged tomorrow.

According to the latest reports from the actor’s secretary, Naseeruddin Shah’s health has improved significantly and will likely be discharged on Friday.

Shah’s secretary Jairaj told an Indian publication that ‘he is doing well and might be discharged tomorrow.’

It was reported by Baaghi TV on Wednesday that the veteran actor was rushed to the hospital after he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Shah was admitted to the PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre on Tuesday.

A local media outlet reported that Naseeruddin Shah has been in the hospital for two days. It further said, “He’s under medical supervision. He was brought in for pneumonia. There was a patch found in his lungs, hence, it became necessary for him to be hospitalized immediately.”

His wife and veteran actress Ratna Pathak Shah also confirmed he had a ‘small patch’ of pneumonia in his lung.

70 -year-old Shah’s career spans over 46 years. Earlier this year, he starred in a Netflix movie ‘Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’.

Not to mention, Naseeruddin Shah also starred in the Pakistani film ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ and the Hollywood production ‘The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.’
