Indian Air Force fighter jet crashes, pilot goes missing

According to Indian media, an Indian Air Force MiG-29 aircraft has crashed. A pilot of the plane has gone missing, as authorities continue their search.

The other pilot of the plane has been found. According to the Indian Navy, the MiG-29 crashed in the Arabian Navy. The Russian-made Indian Navy aircraft was a MiG-29 trainer aircraft. Which was on a regular mission in the morning, when it got into an accident.

The crashed double-seater fighter jet had taken off from the Indian aircraft carrier Vikramaditya.

How did the plane crash happen? It will be decided following an investigation into the matter. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined by the Indian Air Force. The Ministry of Defense has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

Investigations in this regard have been completed. The investigation revealed that the helicopter was shot down by the Indian Army by what was termed as a mistake.
