An Indian airline plane on Monday made an emergency landing at Karachi International Airport after one of its passengers felt sick.

A passenger of IndiGo Airline, flight number IGO 1736, felt sick mid-flight.

The captain of the plane contacted the Karachi Air Traffic Control and relayed the information regarding medical emergency.

The Karachi Air Traffic Control allowed the Indian airline’s plane to land at the airport.

After landing, the Civil Aviation Authority and doctors of Federal Ministry of Health examined the passenger.

But sources said that the passenger identified as Abdullah was expired even before the landing.

The passenger was a citizen of Nigeria and he was 60 years old.

The CAA and doctors of Ministry of Health issued death certificate of the passenger.
