Lahore, 25th January: Indian and Chinese troops clash at the border at Sikkim, where soldiers sustained injuries.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, the stand-off between India and China seems far from over as troops from both countries once again clashed at the Naku La area in northern Sikkim.

According to reports from the Indian media, the confrontation took place last Wednesday on January 20, when tensions aggravated between both sides after a Chinese patrolling party was stopped by the Indian troops in the region.

A source told Indian media that as the physical clash took place, both sides had brought in reinforcements. However, the source added that the situation is under control at the border after the brawl.

Pakistan’s leading anchorperson and journalist Mubashar Lucman took to his Twitter account to report the incident:

He wrote, “Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in Sikkim, reports that soldiers from both sides were injured. Chinese claim 38 Indian soldiers injured.”

There are also reports of soldiers being wounded on both sides. China claims to have injured 38 Indian soldiers so far.

It is to be noted that six months ago, clashes between Chinese and Indian forces in Ladakh had escalated, in which there were 20 Indian soldiers injured during a clash. The two countries later withdrew their forces by consensus under an agreement.
