Srinagar, 10th May: There are continuous atrocities by the Indian Army on the Kashmiris, and the hometown of the martyred commander Riyaz Naiko has been sealed.

The Baigpura area of the martyred Riyaz Naiko has been sealed by the Indian Army to prevent anyone from coming to his house and to express solidarity with his family. Army and police personnel are deployed in every nook and corner of Baigpura.

According to sources from Occupied Kashmir, barbed wire has been laid at all the entrances to Baigpura. Heavy contingent of professional force has also been deployed along the paddy fields and railway tracks.

According to the South Asian Wire, a person from the village said that the Indian troops were still stationed inside the village to prevent people from meeting Naiko’s family in solidarity. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

Occupying authorities are also suspending cellular and internet services in Pulwama district. The Indian Army has laid siege to several villages in Shopian district of south Kashmir. The siege and search disturbed the people.

The troops sealed off all the entrances and exits of the district. During the operation, house-to-house searches were carried out and people’s identity cards were checked. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for anti-India demonstrations to pay tribute to the martyred youth and show solidarity with their families. APHC has also asked its people to call for prayers on their rooftops after Isha prayers on Sunday to pray for liberation from the Indian occupation and Coronavirus.
