The Indian authorities did not allow anyone to assemble around the grave of Syed Ali Gilani at Hyderpora in Srinagar to prevent people from offering Fateha for the veteran leader on his fourth martyrdom anniversary, today, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian paramilitary and police personnel were deployed in strength in Hyderpora area of Srinagar to prevent people from gathering at the martyred leader’s grave, and no one was allowed to enter the graveyard.
Paticipants at indoor prayer sessions, including those held by APHC leaders and parties in their separate condolence meetings on the 4th martyrdom anniversary of the great Kashmiri leader, said that the struggle of Syed Ali Gilani was a golden chapter in the history of the Kashmir freedom movement. They paid glowing tributes to the veteran leader and reiterated the resolve to continue the freedom struggle in Jammu and Kashmir.
