Indian civilian aircraft enters Pakistani airspace

Oct 29, 2021: An Indian aircraft entered and used Pakistani airspace with the permission of the CAA.

According to civil aviation officials, special permission was sought from the Indian plane, the CAA allowed the use of Pakistani airspace at the request of the Indian plane.

Earlier on May 8 this year, the plane from New Delhi made an emergency landing at Islamabad New Airport. The plane landed at Islamabad Airport for refueling. According to Pakistani officials, the plane belonged to the Canadian Air Force and ame from New Delhi.

Earlier on March 2 this year, a passenger on an Indian flight from Sharjah to Lucknow was airlifted to Karachi on an emergency basis due to ill health. As soon as it entered Pakistani territory via Iran, a passenger on board the plane fell ill. Sources told private TV that the captain contacted the air traffic control and sought permission to land the plane at Karachi airport on humanitarian grounds.

According to aviation sources, 60-year-old passenger Habib-ur-Rehman Salman had died in the plane by the time emergency medical aid was provided.

Earlier, on March 1, an air ambulance from India to Azerbaijan made a technical landing at Islamabad airport.
