Indian Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has termed the revocation of Article-370, citing the manner in which it was done.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Chief minister of Indian Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh has teemed the New Delhi’s decision to revoke the Article-370 unconstitutional. The manner in which the constitutional amendment was passed has set the bad precedent for the other states.
Captain Amarinder Singh said, ”The Constitution of India has been rewritten without following any legal provisions. Such a historic decision should not have been taken and pushed through in this arbitrary manner”
He further said, there was no consensus on the issue, as this is a sensitive issue and the people’s opinion on this matter must be taken into the account. He said there was no protest and no celebrations in the state on the passing of this constitutional amendment.
