Indian SC issues big order, Baba Ramdev in deep trouble

New Delhi: The Indian Supreme Court (SC) has sought a written copy of Baba Ramdev’s statement mocking the treatment of coronavirus through allopathy.

According to Indian media reports, the Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday heard the case filed against Baba Ramdev, in which the investigating officer was directed to submit his written statement regarding allopathy and coronavirus treatment.

The Chief Justice of India directed Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi to submit Baba Ramdev’s statement in writing and present it at the next hearing.

The apex court adjourned the case till July 5, 2021 saying that the investigating officer must submit the video statement of Baba Ramdev that was taken on June 5, 2021 in writing as well.

It should be noted that Baba Ramdev had strongly criticized the allopathy treatment of coronavirus patients and instructed the people not to go to the doctors in case of ill health. He also strongly opposed placing patients on ventilators and artificial respiration.
