India’s Covid tally crosses 56 lakh after spike of 83,347 cases; death toll exceeds 90,000
India’s coronavirus tally has crossed 56 lakh after the country reported a single-day spike of 83,347 cases on Wednesday. The country’s total Covid-19 death toll has also crossed the 90,000-mark after 1,085 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
On the brighter side, the number of active cases in India has fallen by almost 90,000 in the last 24 hours. India now has 9,68,377 active cases while the number of people who have recovered has increased to 45, 87,613.
