India’s Zee5 to launch Pakistani Dramas

Lahore, 22nd July 2020: India’s channel Zee5 will launch original Pakistani dramas on its online streaming platform.
According to reports, Zee5 is a subsidiary of India’s Zee entertainment channel. Zee5 is all set to become a new home for a number of Pakistani drama including Bin-Roye, Diyar-E-Dil, Baaghi, and many others.
A few years back when India and Pakistan were on good terms, then the Indian channel Zee TV started a new Channel Zee Zindagi which used to air Pakistani dramas. These dramas were loved by the Indian people and our stars got a lot of fame from across the border.

Later on, when the tension on borders increased where all our artists had to come back to Pakistan, that channel also stopped airing Pakistani content.
Now after almost three years of Zee5, an online platform which is a subsidiary of Zee entertainment is all set to broadcast Pakistani dramas once again.
According to reports, Zee5 is also set to launch five new original series from Pakistan as well. Given below are the details of serials:
The first time Falak Shabir proposed to Sara Khan
Dhoop Ki Dewaar:
Written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan, the Pakistani drama will feature Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Manzar Sehbai, Samiya Mumtaz, Alyy Khan, Adnan Jaffer, Samina Ahmed, and Zeb Rehman.
Mann Jogi:
Another drama is Mann Jogi, starring Saba Qamar, Nauman Ijaz, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Uzma Hassan, and Gul-e-Rana. The drama will be written by Saji Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar.

Aik Jhooti Love Story:
Aik Jhooti Love Story, has a star cast of Bilal Abbas Khan, Madiha Imam, Kinza Razzak, Furqan Qureshi, Kiran Haq, Beo Zafar, and Mohammad Ahmad. Once again Umera Ahmed will be writing for the drama and Mehreen Jabbar will direct the project.
Churails:
Churails will have Yasra Rizvi, Sarwat Gilani, Nimra Bucha, Mehar Bano as leads on an Asim Abbasi written and directed project. According to sources, this story might revolve around patriarchy, gender discrimination, and how to fight against misogynists.

Abdullahpur Ka Devdas:
The drama Abdullahpur Ka Devdas will be available on the Indian steaming site. The drama will be directed by Anjum Shahzad and scripted by Shahid Dogar. The drama will see Bilal Abbas Khan, Sarah Khan, Nauman Ijaz, and Savera Nadeem.
It will be very interesting to see Pakistani ace artists in new original dramas that are being made to be aired on an Indian channel.
