18th February 2021, Baaghi TV: APP representative and press club member Saifullah was abducted by armed men from Charsadda Sardheri Bazaar. Gunmen viciously dragged the journalist through a crowded bazaar and took him to their den. The abducted journalist was locked in a room by the armed accused after which they made an immoral video of him. He was only released after much pleading from the traders of the Bazaar and local residents.
According to DPA Muhammad Shoaib Khan, the victim journalist has registered a case against the kidnappers at Sardheri police station. Police have formed raiding teams to nab the named accused. No matter how influential the accused are, no one is above the law, it was said.
It is the foremost responsibility of the police to maintain law and order and protect the lives and property of citizens.
