Information minister resigns, acknowledges failure

Beirut: Lebanon’s Information Minister Manal Abdal Samad has resigned, acknowledging her failures following a horrific bomb blast.
According to media reports, the Minister of Information Manal resigned in the wake of severe criticism and protests after the Lebanese bomb blast. Protestors say the blast is a government incompetence.

According to the reports, the Lebanese female information minister resigned this morning, but earlier in her statement, she admitted mistakes and failures and apologized to the people, saying that we could not meet your expectations.
Protests have continued since the blast, with protesters accusing Lebanon’s corrupt government of involvement. A recent bomb blast near the northern city of Beirut has killed at least 150 people and injured more than 6,000.According to local media reports, 300,000 people have been displaced by the blast.
It should be noted that the protesters have demanded that re-election should be held in the country, the ruling class involved in the incident should be arrested immediately and action should be taken against them.
