Information Secretary removed from his post
Lahore, 4th November: Information Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani has been removed from his office.
According to a Baaghi TV report, Information Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani has been removed from office.
Akbar Hussain Durrani has been ordered to report to Establishment Division. Akbar Hussain Durrani was appointed Information Secretary on June 8, 2020.
Earlier on this post, Zahida Parveen of Grade 22 Information Group was directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Akbar Hussain Durrani, a Grade 22 officer in the Pakistan Administrative Service, is from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, he was also the Chief Secretary Punjab during the caretaker government. Akbar Hussain Durrani has been the Secretary Education and Additional Chief Secretary Balochistan. He has also held senior management positions in Sindh and KP.
