Lahore, 21st March, 4:00 PM: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz and Opposition Leader of Punjab Hamza Shehbaz in Lahore.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz in Jati Umra on Sunday to discuss future strategy regarding long march and resignations from the parliament.
However, according to reports, the way in which the dispute between Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz ruined the entire PML-N and especially the Sharif family’s image, this meeting has been planned today to hide its negative impact and wrong impression in front of the country.
According to sources, in order to cover up this huge loss and to hide the impression of disintegration within the party, a consultation was held between PML-N’s supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and some important party leaders as to what to do next.
Sources close to the matter also claimed that Nawaz Sharif requested Maulana Fazlur Rehman to handle the matter and reconcile between Hamza and Maryam.
Reports have also revealed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif addressed Maulana saying that Maryam Nawaz will obey the instructions laid out by the PDM chief because she has always been close to him.
In this regard, it was suggested that Maulana will call upon Hamza Shehbaz and Maryam Nawaz at Jati Umra to patch up issues among them.
It has also been learnt that Hamza Shehbaz was not satisfied with this self-made plan, while on the other hand, Maryam Nawaz is also determined on her decision.
However, Nawaz Sharif warned both of them to welcome the PDM chief at their place, where a picture was taken and released to the media.
The picture released to the media captured the disgust shown by Hamza Shehbaz on this occasion who didn’t seem happy with the setting of his high command.
It has also been learnt through reliable sources that Maulana has been appealing to Hamza Shehbaz and Maryam Nawaz to cool the matter between them and that it is necessary to have a mutual understanding to continue the anti-government movement.
Later, sources also revealed that Hamza Shehbaz left the meeting soon without having food. He took an excuse and left for his home in Model Town, Lahore.
On the other hand, sources close to the matter said that as long as Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz were together, there was no expression of happiness on their faces.
It has also been claimed by Maulana Fazlur Rehman that Maryam Nawaz was full of support, however, Hamza did not appear satisfied and was silent throughout the meeting.
It would not be wrong to think that Hamza Shehbaz thinks that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is behind Maryam Nawaz’s aggressive politics, so during this meeting, Hamza saw Maryam and Maulana with one eye and avoided it as a ploy.
It may be recalled that as news of differences between PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz has been making the rounds for the last two days, the reality inside the Sharif family is also coming to light.
Baaghi TV had reported on Friday that during an important PML-N session, a rift between Hamza Shehbaz and Maryam Nawaz was highlighted where she had sharply criticized him, after which their supreme leader Nawaz Sharif left the meeting.
Sources informed Baaghi TV that the interesting incident took place when during the video link Maryam Nawaz supported Chaudhry Pervez Elahi as the Chief Minister of Punjab and opposed Buzdar, and alleged Hamza that she knows when he was in jail he stayed with whom and with whose support has he come out?
To which Hamza Shehbaz said he also knows that she has taken an aggressive approach with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and the same aggressive approach has taken the party to this level today.
