Intensity in new wave of patients across Pakistan, how many have recovered?
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the second wave of corona is continuing to affect the number of patients across Pakistan.
According to the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC), 40 more deaths and 3,459 new cases have been reported in Pakistan. The total number of deaths from the virus has reached 13,757. The total number of affected people has reached 619,259. The number of active patients of COVID-19 in the country is 24,592. Although, 578,314 people have recovered from Corona virus till date.

According to the NCOC, 5,919 people have lost their lives in Punjab while 4,473 people have lost their lives in Sindh. 2,0196 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 536 in Islamabad, 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 202 in Balochistan and 328 in Azad Kashmir. The number of corona cases in Islamabad is 50,096, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 77,972 and Sindh is at 262,503, in Punjab it is 193,054, in Balochistan 19,290, in Azad Kashmir 11,377 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,967 people have been affected by the virus.

Following the new wave of corona across the county, smart lockdown has been imposed in 7 cities of Punjab till March 29th. New restrictions have been imposed in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala and Gujarat. Markets and bazaars have been ordered to close by 5 pm till March 29th, while there will be a full shut down on Saturday and Sunday.

Amusement parks and other recreational spaces will be shut down at 6 p.m. Cinema halls, theaters, marriage halls, community centers and marquees are completely closed. Only open spaces will be allowed, with no more than 300 people attending. Moreover, only takeaways are allowed in restaurants and cafes, while medical services, petrol pumps, essentials shops will be open 24 hours a day. Only 50% of staff in public and private offices are allowed to call.
