Interior Minister visits Saudi Directorate of Passports

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Saudi Directorate of Passports in Riyadh today and met its Acting Director General, Major General Dr. Saleh Al-Murabaa.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed effective measures to facilitate the issuance of passport and prevent forgery. They also exchanged views in detail on the E-Gates system.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said assistance of Saudi Directorate of Passports will be beneficial in improving Pakistan’s passport system on modern lines.

He said a Call Centre will be set up in Pakistan on the model of Saudi Directorate of Passport’s Call Centre.

The Interior Minister visited different departments of the Directorate and inspected its call center.

He reviewed the modern passport system and advanced technology used in the center.
