Islamabad, Sept. 21 (Online): Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has urged the international community to play its role for the resolution of lingering Kashmir dispute.Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Monday in connection with the International Day of Peace, he said that the resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions is imperative for regional peace and stability.

Condemning the blatant human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), the Speaker said that Indian troops have been given free hand to persecute the innocent and armless Kashmiri people.

He said Pakistan has been making effective efforts to expose the evil face of India before the world. Meanwhile, addressing the seminar, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has urged the so-called international custodians of peace to break their silence over the Indian atrocities and genocide in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said Modi’s India is a serious threat to peace in the region. The President Azad Jammu and Kashmir pointed out that 1.7 million Hindus have been given right to settle in Kashmir after revocation the Article 370 since 5 August last year.

He said unarmed people of Kashmir will keep fighting for their right to self-determination and no power on the earth will subjugate them to gain their basic right of freedom.
