The International Finance Corporation will provide financial assistance of 400 million dollars for Reko Diq project.

The total investment of IFC in Reko Diq project reaches 700 million dollars.

Other financiers including the U.S. EXIM Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japan and Canada are also expected to join the financing package.

It is expected to generate revenue of up to 74 billion dollars from Reko Diq in 37 years.

IFC Managing Director Makhtar Diop said that the production will be started in 2028 from Reko Diq, which is the largest project of Copper and Gold in Pakistan.

He said that it will boost foreign investment in Pakistan and vast employment opportunities will be generated in Balochistan from the project.
