Int’l Moon day being observed today
International Moon day is being observed today.
The day marks the anniversary of the first landing by humans on Moon as part of Apollo-II lunar Mission.
The observance will also consider the achievements of all states in exploration of the moon and raise awareness about sustainable Moon exploration and utilization.
