Pakistani television presenter and journalist Iqrar Ul Hasan has been allegedly tortured by Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan and his team for exposing the corruption along with video evidence of an IB inspector.
According to the details, personnel of a civilian intelligence agency in the Karachi’s Orangi area allegedly attacked the ARY News anchor and his team for exposing a corrupt IB officer.
Sources have revealed that the Sar e Aam host was immediately transfer to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in critical condition where he received stitches and first aid medical treatment. Doctors say that basic medical treatment has been completed and his condition is out of danger now.

Furthermore, sources have told Baaghi TV that Iqrar Ul Hassan and his team were stripped naked, beaten and electric shocks were inflicted on the delicate parts of their bodies on the orders of Director IB Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan.

On the other hand, political leaders as well as the public have condemned the violence and called for the immediate arrest of those who attacked the Sar e Aam team.
Provincial Minister of Sindh for Local Governments, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, said that five officers of a federal institution have been suspended immediately. Iqrar was allegedly beaten in the office of a federal intelligence agency, IB in Karachi.

Furthermore, it is to be noted that the IB office order says five officials including its director Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan, have been suspended for “mistreatment of ARY team and mishandling the situation”
