The State Department announced in June that it had doubled the reward from 5 million to 10 million for information leading to the capture of Haji Abdullah.
On this occasion, Justice for Reward program wrote the name of “Muhammad Saeed Abdul Rahman Al-Mawla” instead of Haji Abdullah in the tweet, which is the real name of Haji.
Haji uses a variety of names, including Abu Omar al-Turkmani and Abdul-Amir Muhammad Saeed al-Salbi.
Haji was born in 1976 in the Iraqi city of Mosul, according to the State Department. Haji took over the leadership of ISIS after its founder and leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was killed in a US attack.
