Lahore, June 27: Islam is a comprehensive, natural and perfect religion whose laws and principles are in accordance with all the requirements of nature. The Islamic laws are full of the spirit of survival, development, prosperity and well-being of humanity.
Islam is the only religion that provides complete and comprehensive guidance in all matters related to our life (religious and secular, political and social, economic and societal). Islam is a complete and comprehensive system that fully covers all the aspects of human life and civilized society.
The way Islam has expressed good manners, sympathy, sincerity, harmony, mutual relations and the relationship between human beings for the purpose of mutual rights and duties, nowhere is found in this beautiful manner.
From the general topic of human rights, if we turn our attention towards our core topic of discussion -the rights and duties of women-, we can see from the pages of history how much worse it was done with women in Roman, Greek and pre-Islamic times. And we can observe how ridiculous behavior was maintained for women in the history of civilizations before Islam.
By reading human history you will come up with the fact that Islam is the only religion in human history that has not only forbidden the ridicule of women but also elevated women to a high status, position and dignity in society. For the first time in history, Islam allocated the share of women in the inheritance and gave them all the rights they were deprived of.
Islam has given women the place and respect in society they have been seeking for centuries. Islam gave a general message to the world that woman is not a luxury but the name of survival and security of the human race.
While Islam has laid down numerous rights for women, it has also imposed certain responsibilities and duties upon them, the observance of which is essential for the formation of a civilized society.
The most important and foremost duty of a woman is to protect her infallibility and dignity in the light of divine commands. In order to fulfill this duty, Allah Almighty has commanded women to be virtuous and veiled so that their dignity in society may be elevated.
Allah stated in Surah Al-Noor:
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears. Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.”
Alhamdulillah, Pakistan is an Islamic country that has come into existence on the basis of Islamic ideology, so it is very important that its culture and laws be in line with Islamic law. As Muslims, we have a duty to abide by Allah’s commandments and Islamic laws.
If we turn away from it, our actions will fall into the category of disobedience and breaking the law of Allah and His Messenger. It is incumbent upon all of us to strictly follow the manner in which Islam has commanded women to remain veiled, and it is a grave sin to give precedence to any personal opinion over it.
Islam is a religion of nature and its precepts are in accordance with all the principles of a civilized and dignified society. Islam has commanded women to wear veils so that society can avoid the obscenity and vulgarity that is destroying the human race and the family system.
For the past few years, our beloved homeland has also been under the influence of anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan elements who spread nudity, indecency and obscenity in the name of women’s free and independent lifestyle.
As a result of this widespread shamelessness and obscenity, we are facing increasing sexual crimes and the rape of women. We are seeing a dangerous increase in the incidence of sexual crimes in Pakistan.
Taking note of this dire situation, the Prime Minister of Pakistan in his keynote statement directed women to refrain from wearing short dresses. The Prime Minister of Pakistan directed women to wear veils to curb the rise of sexual crimes and misconduct in society.
But it is a pity that everyone here has forgotten the good and the bad and the divine commands for personal gain. Politicians are making opposing statements on the statement of the Prime Minister in order to gloss over their politics, while other liberal mafias and anti-Islamic forces have also been found criticizing PM.
Because of this statement, the real twists are rising in the stomachs of liberals and so-called human rights activists who see their business in Pakistan being chopped up.
A so-called liberal group is promoting obscenity and pornography under the guise of protecting women’s rights in the name of “Women’s March”. We are all witnesses to how this class has spread obscenity in the country by using women’s cards.
These people are again weighing in for the “Women’s March”, but we all are well aware of the banners, slogans and deeds of the leaders used in the previous Women’s March rallies. From which it can be clearly inferred that their aim is not to protect women’s rights but these people are misleading women in the name of freedom of rights and are leading them towards obscenity and pornography.
A woman’s education, her right to inheritance, equal employment opportunities and other rights are left behind by this “Aurat march” and the beat about the bush of vulgarity and nudity rather than the above-mentioned genuine reasons demanding workout.
The reason why this class is so active after the Prime Minister’s statement is that the liberal class is well aware of the popularity of Imran Khan among the people. These people know that after this statement of Khan Sahib, in the matter of veil, the younger generation will also be careful in this matter which was not convinced before the veil.
That is why these people will come up with new and unique ways to save their business and mislead our young generation by spreading obscenity.
As Muslims, it is now our duty to defeat these anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan forces by adopting Islamic laws, Islamic traditions and culture.
We must build welfare, healthy and religious society based on the golden principles of Islam, where people of all races and ethnicities can live peacefully, free from class and sexual divisions. May Allah give Pakistan heights and dignity in the world. Amen
