According to Baaghi TV reports, the Islamabad High Court has suspended the appointment of PIMS as Registrar and Demonstrator.

The court issued restraining order for appointment to the posts of Registrar and Demonstrator. The court issued notice to the Registrar and Vice Chancellor of PIMS. The court directed the PIMS administration to submit a written reply to the High Court before the next hearing.

The hearing was conducted by Justice Ghulam Azam Qambrani of the Islamabad High Court. Petitioner Dr. Safiullah Baloch appeared in the court along with his lawyer Chaudhry Amjad Advocate. Junior candidates were invited for interview from Dr Safiullah, the lawyer said. The legal requirements for the post of Registrar and Demonstrator of PIMS were not met, the lawyer said, adding that the PIMS administration ignored the Sindh quota.

The court adjourned the hearing till October 19th and sought a reply from the PIMS administration.
