According to Baaghi TV report, a well reputed religious scholar, Qar Sohaib Mir Mohammadi presented Islamic views regarding solar and lunar eclipses. While explaining them, he said that both solar and lunar eclipses are signs of Allah and not due to someone’s life or death. He added that the behavior of the Prophet (PBUH) when there was an eclipse of the moon or the eclipse of the sun is a model for us and it is obligatory for the believers to adopt it on such an occasion. Once when the sun was eclipsed, he became very frightened and hurriedly took the shroud of his family and said to the Companions, “Come” and start praying quickly.
