Islamophobia at the International level
The word “Islamophobia” is derived from two words “Islam” and “Phobia” which means fear of. Hatred of Non-Muslims is incited against Islam which creates fear against Islam in their hearts, that’s called Islamophobia.
Islamophobia is a modern term designed to discredit Muslims and Islam.
The term “Islamophobia” has been used since 1976 and began to be used extensively after the dramatic attacks on the world trade center on September 11, 2011. After this, Muslims are subsequently attacked in western countries.
The tragedy of New Zealand was seen all over the world in which fifty living people were killed in an instant.
Importance of Article 370 for Kashmiris
Islam is a peaceful religion and teaches peace.
If we look at history the conquest of Mecca was a great victory. On this occasion, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) set a clear example of peace by forgiving his opponent and showing the world that Islam is a religion of peace.
A religion that cares about the rights of non-Muslims also, so why fear it? As can be seen, the biggest reason for Islamophobia is the growing popularity in Islam.
No need to go far, recently on 8th June 2021, a family of Pakistani origin was trampled to death in Canada. Four people were killed and a 9-year-old child survived.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan also highlighted the growing incidence of Islamophobia on the ICO platform.
Mr. Imran Khan called for a strong fight against Islamophobia, radicalism, and terrorism linking to Islam. Mr. Imran Khan wrote letters to the heads of Islamic countries in which he said that Islamophobia must be eradicated.
Now it’s time to work against Islamophobia at the international level.
